  15. This CD-Rom drive is installed in an A4000 using IDE-fix
  16. (v105.2) & 4x IDE Adapter, with on the first cable 2 IDE
  17. harddisks and on the other cable the CD-Rom drive (as
  18. master).

  21. Yes, it is possible - in theory. If the authors of CDDA reader 
  22. programs for the Amiga would be so kind to include an "ATAPI" 
  23. option, this should work with some drives.
  24. You must know, that in SCSI-II CDDA reading was not defined, so 
  25. every manufacturer used vendor unique commands. With ATAPI, there 
  26. is a defined command to do so. (0xBE). This packet can be send to 
  27. atapi.device with a simple HD_SCSICMD.
  28. The ATAPI documentation (SFF-8020i) should be available from 
  29. various BBS boards for review.
  30. Beware, not all ATAPI drives support this!!!! I have NO idea which
  31. do, and if the Toshiba drive does.
